Print Advertising: Brochures

The two main purposes of advertising are brand recognition and, of course, increased business. Multi-tiered marketing is one of the most effective ways to achieve both. You may need to choose a number of avenues including print mediums, direct marketing and the Internet.

SweetGrass Design can complement your marketing strategy with custom-designed newspaper advertisements, brochures and newsletters.

SGD has extensive print experience. Costs will vary based on your individual needs (e.g. type of paper, size and quantity) however as a guideline, the price of designing a two-panel brochure (4.25" x 9") would cost $225 and a four-panel (4.25" x 9") fold-out brochure would cost CDN$400.

Print costs are additional and are arranged between client and printer. SweetGrass Design can help you select paper and obtain quotes from various print companies.

Text Editing and Writing

Clients are welcome to submit the text for their websites or they may use the services of SweetGrass Design. If you wish to have text rewritten or edited at your request, the rate is $0.11 per word.

If you prefer to have SweetGrass Design produce the entire text or write articles for your site, the rate is $0.20 per word. A typical article of 500 words, for example, would cost $100. Large projects receive a discounted rate. Please contact info@sweetgrassdesign.com to receive a quote.

Translation

If you plan to market nationally or internationally, you may wish to offer text in English, French, Spanish, and other languages on your website.

Clients are welcome to provide text in multiple languages or Sweet Grass Design can put you in touch with professional translation firms. Payment arrangements are made directly between clients and the translation firm of choice. Translation typically cost 20 to 25 cents per word based on the English word count.
